Rates & Accepted Insurances
A typical 1 hour session costs $125. The initial session will consist of assessment, evaluation, and planning where you have the opportunity to share what is happening and what you would like to accomplish while participating in the counseling process. If you have any concerns about insurance rates/reimbursements, feel free to email NTCS at any time.
NTCS accepts some forms of Insurance including Soonercare (Medicaid). You are more than welcome to be placed on a waiting list for a specific provider.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
If you are not insured by one of the Insurance Company's that NTCS is approved by, you may still qualify for reimbursement for out-of-network services. In that case, you would pay NTCS up front, and then file a claim yourself with your insurer. Several of our clients have successfully done this.
If you're Thinking About Insurance?
Whether or not you have insurance coverage for our work together, you need to be informed about how NTCS seeks insurance reimbursement. Some NTCS clients prefer to keep our relationship just between us for reasons of confidentiality (insurance companies will not pay the bill without receiving specific information about you, including diagnosis of a ("disorder"). In addition, many clients have shared that their own financial investment in their work was another way for them to feel empowered and motivated. It's up to you, but being informed of this information gives you time to reflect on this before seeking insurance reimbursement.
